Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has called for a swift and impartial investigation into the deaths of six newborns at Ad-Din Hospital in Dhaka's Moghbazar area. The party has demanded exemplary punishment for those responsible if any negligence, error, or irresponsibility is found during the investigation.

In a statement posted on the party's verified Facebook page, Jamaat's Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He highlighted that the initial assumption of the hospital authorities is that the tragedy might have occurred due to an AC gas leak or other technical faults.

Parwar emphasized that such deaths in a medical facility are unacceptable and called for an immediate investigation to uncover the true cause of the incident. He stressed that if any negligence or irresponsibility is proven, the guilty parties must be brought to justice and punished severely.
