# New DUCSU Committee: Durjoy Elected President, Mostakim as General Secretary

Durjoy Ray has been elected as the president and Muhammad Mostakim as the general secretary of the Dhaka University (DU) unit of the Bangladesh Chhatra Union. The election took place during the 36th conference and council session of the DUCSU.

The session began with the slogan 'নূতন মাটিতে আসে ফসলেরই কাল, আঁধার পেরিয়ে আসে আগামী সকাল'. The new committee was announced on the final day of the conference by consensus.

The outgoing committee's president, Meghmallar Basu, presided over the council session, while the outgoing general secretary, Main Ahmed, conducted the proceedings. Central representatives Tamjid Haider and Asif Zaman were also present.
