# Bangladesh Reports Three Additional Deaths from Suspected Measles, Total Reaches 733

Three more children suspected of being infected with measles have died across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of suspected measles deaths to 733 since March 15, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The DGHS reported 799 new suspected measles cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of suspected cases to 125,544 since March 15. During the same period, 105 measles cases were confirmed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15,660.

A total of 108,441 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals from March 15 to July 28. Of these, 104,235 patients have recovered and been discharged. No deaths from confirmed measles cases were reported in the past 24 hours, with the total number of confirmed measles deaths standing at 95 since March 15.

The ongoing measles outbreak has significant implications for public health in Bangladesh, highlighting the need for continued vigilance and robust vaccination efforts to curb the spread of the disease.
