## Understanding Dengue Symptoms and Risks

Dengue, a mosquito-borne viral infection, has seen a rise in cases this year. As of July 23, 2026, 39 deaths and 12,020 infections have been reported across Bangladesh. The Directorate General of Health Services has identified 59 high-risk dengue zones in Dhaka. Experts emphasize that the key to controlling dengue lies in public awareness and caution.
