The remake of the 1998 film 'হঠাৎ বৃষ্টি' titled 'আবার হঠাৎ বৃষ্টি' is scheduled for release during Puja. Directed by Kamruzzaman, the film stars new pair Ariyan Sarower and Radifa Narmin. The original film, directed by Basu Chatterjee, starred Ferdous and Priyanka Trivedi.

The shooting of the film was completed a few months ago and it has received clearance from the certification board. The film is a Bangladesh-India joint production, similar to the original, which was produced by Ashirbad Chalachitra and Gramco Films. The new film is jointly produced by Ashirbad Chalachitra and Impress Telefilm.

Ariyan Sarower, who plays the lead role previously portrayed by Ferdous, mentioned that he watched the original film multiple times before shooting and tried to bring his own interpretation to the character, guided by the director's instructions.
