After the Eid-ul-Azha and summer break, schools and colleges in the country will resume classes on Sunday. The extended holiday period has concluded, and students will return to classrooms after more than two weeks. According to the 2026 education calendar published by the Ministry of Education, the holiday began on May 24 and ended on June 4. With the weekend falling on June 5 and 6, institutions will reopen on June 7. Students have enjoyed a total of 16 days of vacation, including the weekend. Madrasa students, however, have a longer break, with classes set to resume on June 14 after a 23-day vacation.
