Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon informed the parliament that the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were held as scheduled, following weather forecasts and assessments from district and field administrations. Only one examination centre, the Cumilla Government Women’s College, faced temporary disruption due to waterlogging among nearly 2,700 centres nationwide. Prompt measures and alternative arrangements ensured the examination's successful completion.

## Weather Assessments and Monitoring

Dr. Milon highlighted that the Ministry of Education closely monitored the situation until 5:00 pm the day before the examination. They remained in regular contact with superintendents of police, divisional commissioners, chairmen of education boards, district and upazila administrations, and the Bangladesh Meteorological Department. Based on their assessments, it was determined that weather conditions would improve, allowing the examinations to proceed without hindrance.

## Exceptional Measures and Error Handling

At the Cumilla Government Women’s College, examinees were transported by boats to the fifth floor of the college building where the examination was conducted. The examination started one hour later and was extended by an additional hour to ensure students received the full examination time. Regarding errors in the Physics examination paper, Dr. Milon confirmed that questions 6 and 7 contained mistakes, and full marks were awarded to all candidates as a corrective measure.
