State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj announced that the government is working on integrating all primary schools, kindergartens, and English medium institutions under a unified monitoring framework. Currently, the Department of Primary Education's monitoring system primarily covers government primary schools, but the new policy aims to extend this oversight to all primary education institutions nationwide.

## Comprehensive Monitoring Framework

Hajjaj emphasized the importance of effective monitoring, stating that it will go beyond government institutions to include all primary schools. He highlighted the necessity of conducting field visits to assess school conditions, which will help improve the quality of primary education. The new framework will rely on accurate information to address discrepancies in data and ensure that education administration operates efficiently.

## Key Standards and Future Plans

The state minister outlined seven critical standards that education administration officials must adhere to, including the regular operation of schools, verified presence of teachers, accurate student enrollment figures, and direct observation of student learning. Hajjaj also stressed the importance of ensuring that all government resources reach the intended students, maintaining safe and functional school infrastructure, and promoting respectful interactions among officials, students, guardians, media representatives, and the public.

In addition to the monitoring framework, Hajjaj announced plans to implement school feeding programs in all government primary schools across the nation next year. He reiterated the commitment to eliminate untrained teachers from classrooms and emphasized the need for proper training and qualifications for educators in both government and private primary schools. The quality of teacher recruitment, training, and classroom teaching capabilities will be integral to the future monitoring framework.

The announcement was made during a training workshop on classroom management and the role of local administration in primary education in Chattogram. The event was chaired by Md. Nurul Islam, Deputy Director of Primary Education for the Chattogram Division, with Additional Director General Md. Abdur Rahim and various district and upazila primary education officials in attendance.
