# DSHE Mandates Secondary Schools to Support Notun Kuri Sports Event

*The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has mandated secondary schools to assist in the upcoming 'Notun Kuri Sports 2026-27' event.*

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has directed all secondary educational institutes to support the 'Notun Kuri Sports 2026-27' event. The event, set to start in September at the Upazila level, will feature 10 sports. Schools are instructed to encourage students aged 12-14 to register, inform students during class, and display event details on notice boards and websites.

The DSHE order includes displaying banners in visible areas, announcing the event on school websites and social media, and ensuring students are well-informed. Registration for the event opened on July 1 and will close on August 31. This initiative follows a directive from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The Notun Kuri Sports event aims to promote sports among young students and foster a culture of physical activity and competition. By involving secondary schools, the event seeks to reach a wider audience and encourage more participation.
