Chittagong University (CU) is set to establish a Central Disaster Management and Restoration Centre to provide coordinated, effective, and sustainable support to people affected by natural disasters across Bangladesh. The initiative was announced by University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) Social Welfare and Environment Affairs Secretary Tahsina Rahman at a press conference. Fundraising activities for the proposed centre have already begun.
