The funds will be used to purchase solar-powered irrigation systems and hammer machines to promote environmentally friendly technologies in rice production and processing. ESDO Director (Administration) Principal Dr. Selima Akhtar attended the event as the chief guest and distributed the grant cheques among the beneficiaries. Dr. Akhtar highlighted that the project aims to expand the use of eco-friendly technologies in the rice sector, helping entrepreneurs become more self-reliant and contributing to rural economic transformation and green growth. ESDO Managing Director Shashwat Zaman, senior officials of the organization, and local rice mill sector entrepreneurs were present at the event.
