He clarified that his environmentally friendly factory never closed, exports continued, and worker salaries were always paid on time. He mentioned that the initial loan of 150 crore taka at 4% interest increased to 9-11% later, and delays in repayment occurred due to issues like the COVID-19 pandemic. He confirmed that 100 crore taka of the loan has already been repaid.

During the press conference, the Governor also stated that approximately one-third of the funds in the country's banking system have been stolen, posing a significant challenge to stabilizing the banking system.
