## Strong Bilateral Relations

The exhibition, held at COEX Hall B from June 23 to 25, was organised by the Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KBCCI) in collaboration with the Embassy of Bangladesh in Seoul. The event was jointly inaugurated by Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) Chairman YoungMi Youn and Bangladesh Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Toufiq Islam Shatil, along with ambassadors from several countries and other distinguished guests.

## Diverse Product Showcase

The Bangladesh Pavilion, with its theme 'Invest in Bangladesh: Advancing Trade and Investment Through Strong Bilateral Relations,' attracted significant attention from buyers and visitors. Thirty-two Bangladeshi companies showcased products including garments, textiles, garment accessories, leather goods, footwear, jute and eco-friendly products, handicrafts, agro and processed foods, IT and AI-based software solutions, and logistics services.

## Commitment to Trade Expansion

On the sidelines of the expo, the KBCCI delegation held a bilateral meeting with KOIMA leaders, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding trade and investment cooperation. The discussions built on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between KBCCI and KOIMA in September 2024 to strengthen bilateral import-export cooperation.

## Business Delegation and B2B Meetings

A 41-member business delegation led by KBCCI President Shahab Uddin Khan participated in the expo and held more than 15 business-to-business (B2B) meetings with Korean and international buyers during the event. At a reception hosted by the Bangladesh Embassy on June 26, Ambassador Toufiq Islam Shatil assured the delegation of the embassy's full support in promoting bilateral trade and investment.
