Bangladesh received US$35.07 billion in remittances during the first 359 days of fiscal year (FY) 2025-26, marking a robust 17.7 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. According to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank, expatriate Bangladeshis sent home $35.069 billion between July 1, 2025 and June 24, 2026, up from $29.792 billion received during the same period of FY2024-25.

On June 24 alone, the country received $74 million in remittances.
