## Initial Allocations

The first phase of assistance included Tk 60 lakh and 1,200 metric tonnes of rice for the districts of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Sherpur, and Kurigram. The remaining 57 districts each received Tk 500,000 in cash and 100 metric tonnes of rice.

## Additional Allocations

As the flood situation worsened, additional allocations were announced on July 9. Chattogram received Tk 20 lakh and 300 metric tonnes of rice, while Cox's Bazar was allocated Tk 20 lakh and 250 metric tonnes of rice. The hill districts of Khagrachhari, Rangamati, and Bandarban each received Tk 10 lakh and 200 metric tonnes of rice, while Moulvibazar was allocated Tk 500,000 and 100 metric tonnes of rice.

## Further Assistance

On July 10, the ministry approved a further allocation of Tk 500,000 and 200 metric tonnes of rice for Chattogram to reinforce ongoing relief operations. On July 12, additional assistance was announced for Chattogram and Rangamati. Chattogram received Tk 25 lakh and 500 metric tonnes of rice, while Rangamati was allocated Tk 500,000 and 100 metric tonnes of rice.
