Two police officers were injured after being stabbed by robbers in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Thursday night. The injured officers are Sub-Inspector (SI) Samsuzzoha Sarkar (34) and Constable Hridoy Barua (20) of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station. Police arrested two robbers, while another escaped.

According to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, around 1 AM on Thursday, police received information that robbers were preparing for a theft near Zia Udyan's Glass Bridge. A police patrol team arrived at the scene. The robbers attempted to flee on an auto-rickshaw but were pursued by the police.
