Rangpur Development Authority (RpDA) Chairman Md Shamsuzzaman Samu has committed to transforming Rangpur into a modern, planned city, fulfilling long-standing local aspirations for development. Speaking at the inauguration of the RpDA office at the Rangpur Divisional Headquarters Bhaban, Samu outlined his comprehensive development plan, emphasizing collaboration to tackle issues such as poor road conditions, unplanned construction, and the sustainable development of local canals.

Samu's plan includes addressing the lack of good roads, repairing broken roads, and regulating unplanned house construction. He stressed the importance of sustainable development for the Shyamasundari Canal, KD Canal, and other canals in Rangpur.
