Under the direction of RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, a team led by Secretary Sohel Rana handed over the life jackets at Malekdagar Ghat in Ward No. 29 of the city. The boatmen were instructed to prioritize passenger safety by not taking excess passengers and using life jackets appropriately. The distribution event was attended by RCC Executive Magistrate Nazmul Alam and other officials. The boatmen, who have been operating at the ghat for many years, expressed appreciation for this safety initiative.
