# Rangpur Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer with Heroin, Yaba, and Ganja

The Detective Branch (DB) of Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) has arrested an alleged drug dealer, Shakil Mridha, 40, with various drugs from the Islampur Honumantola area under Kotwali Police Station. The operation was conducted under the direction of RpMP Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Mabud as part of a continuous effort to implement the zero tolerance policy against drugs. The seized drugs included 11 grams of heroin, 15 pieces of Yaba tablets, and 250 grams of ganja. Legal action has been taken against the arrested person. The RpMP's intelligence activities and operations are ongoing to prevent the spread of illegal drugs and bring drug dealers to justice.
