RAJSHAHI — Around 30 saplings of various fruit and forest tree species were planted on the premises of Rajpara Police Station under the initiative of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) as per government directives. The tree plantation programme was carried out today under the overall supervision of Rajpara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Azad. Sub-Inspectors (SIs) Nipa and Firoz, along with other police members working at the station, were present during the programme.

This initiative aligns with the government's broader environmental goals, aiming to enhance greenery and promote sustainable practices within urban areas. The Rajshahi Metropolitan Police's involvement underscores the importance of community and institutional participation in environmental conservation efforts.

Tree plantation drives like this one are crucial for improving air quality, providing habitats for wildlife, and contributing to the overall aesthetic and environmental health of urban landscapes. The participation of local law enforcement agencies in such initiatives fosters a sense of community responsibility and engagement in environmental stewardship.
