The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, across various parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today. According to a Met Office bulletin issued this morning, these weather conditions are expected at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.

## Moderate to Heavy Rainfall Possible

The bulletin also indicates that moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at certain places across the country. Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged. The country's highest temperature on Monday was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius in Sylhet, while today's minimum temperature was 24.7 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj.

During the last 24 hours till 6 am today, the highest rainfall of 150 millimetres was recorded. In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:44 pm today and rise at 5:26 am tomorrow.
