Joynal Abedin, the khatib of the Dargahpara Kala Pirshah Jame Mosque, and Zahir Uddin, the mosque's muezzin, were killed when a speeding pickup truck carrying fish struck their motorcycle in Mirsarai upazila. The accident occurred on the old DT road in the Chowdhuryhat area of Zorarganj Union.

## Incident Details

The victims, both residents of the Charsharat area under Moghadia Union, were returning home on their motorcycle when they were hit by the fish-laden truck coming from the opposite direction. The collision was severe, leading to their immediate death upon arrival at the Mirsarai Upazila Health Complex.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Zorarganj Police Station Mohammad Abdul Halim reported that the necessary legal procedures, including the post-mortem examination of the deceased, are currently underway. Joynal Abedin, 35, was also a local Olamadal leader, adding to the community's grief over the loss.
