## New Leadership at BOESL

Rashadul Haque took charge on July 30, succeeding Md Saiful Islam. His appointment was officially announced by the Ministry of Public Administration on July 23, with a contractual basis and Grade-2 status. Born in Madaripur, Rashedul Haque holds degrees in Information Science and Library Management from Dhaka University and has spent over 17 years in Australia, acquiring valuable international experience.

Rashadul Haque brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including serving as the International Affairs Secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Special Assistant to the BNP Chairperson's Advisory Committee on Foreign Affairs. His extensive background in international communication and multicultural environments is expected to bolster BOESL's mission.

## Focus on Skilled Overseas Employment

In his inaugural address, Rashedul Haque outlined his priorities for BOESL, emphasizing the importance of sending more skilled workers abroad. He pledged to ensure that overseas employment remains safe, legal, transparent, and cost-effective, aligning with the policies of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment.

To achieve these goals, Rashedul Haque called for collaboration with the ministry, government and private institutions, development partners, Bangladesh missions abroad, international stakeholders, and the media. His vision includes making BOESL a more effective and modern institution, contributing to the country's economic development through disciplined and skilled manpower.
