On August 3, 2026, the Rajshahi city unit of Jatiyatabadi Peshajibi Dal organized a tree plantation program at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET). The event was attended by Abul Kalam Azad Sweet, Chairman of the Rajshahi Development Authority and Vice-President of Rajshahi city BNP, who served as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Advocate Toufiq Ahsan Titu, President of Jatiyatabadi Peshajibi Dal's central executive committee, and several other leaders and activists from the Rajshahi metropolitan and district units.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of tree plantation in maintaining ecological balance, mitigating climate change impacts, and building a greener and more livable Bangladesh. They urged people from all walks of life to participate in tree plantation drives to protect the environment. The RUET authorities provided full cooperation for the successful execution of the program.
