Judge Robiul Alam of the Dhaka Special Judge Court-4 allowed a time plea filed by the prosecution and set the new date for the hearing.

According to case documents, Md Hossain, a truck driver, was shot in the Mohammadpur Chand Udyan area on July 19, 2024, while returning home after leaving his truck in the Gabtoli area. He succumbed to his injuries. Hossain's mother, Rina Begum, filed the case on August 31, 2024, with the Mohammadpur Police Station. Police filed a charge sheet against 34 individuals, including Sheikh Hasina, on November 23, 2025.
