During the operation, Titas Gas authorities imposed fines totaling Taka 2.30 lakh through mobile courts in seven cases. The fines included Taka 1.10 lakh in three cases in Basail and another Taka 1.10 lakh in three cases in Gorashal, all under the Bangladesh Gas Act, 2010. Additionally, a fine of Taka 10,000 was imposed in another case under the Consumers' Right Protection Act, 2009. The district administration has indicated that such drives will continue in the future to combat illegal gas use and connections.

## Drive Details and Penalties

The operation targeted illegal gas connections, resulting in significant penalties. In Basail, three cases led to fines of Taka 1.10 lakh, while in Gorashal, three more cases incurred the same amount in fines. An additional case under the Consumers' Right Protection Act, 2009, resulted in a fine of Taka 10,000. The mobile court was led by Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Nepal Kanti Dev.
