Taher announced a major initiative to pave all roads in Barura within the next two to three years. He revealed that around 300 roads are already included in various development projects, aiming to improve connectivity along key corridors. The minister also highlighted plans to establish a technical college and a 101-bed hospital to enhance education and healthcare services in the area.

The Barura Upazila Janakalyan Samity, under the leadership of President Md Shah Alam, aims to become a non-political, welfare-focused platform.
