In a significant move to enhance living standards, the current government is actively working on the Family Card and Farmers Card programs, according to Dr. Md. Saimum Parvez, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Affairs. Saimum made these remarks while inaugurating the newly constructed Shahbazpur Union Land Office building in Shibganj Upazila, Chapai Nawabganj.

"The BNP government is committed to proving itself through actions rather than words. Our focus is not only on improving the living conditions of the poor but also on advancing society by providing incentive packages for women," Saimum stated.

He highlighted that the Family Card initiative has gained recognition, even from political opponents like Jamaat, who now wish to be part of the program. The new land office, constructed at a cost of Taka 90.47 lakh, symbolizes the government's dedication to infrastructural development and service delivery.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Saimum Parvez engaged in environmental activities by planting trees at Sahebnagar Government Primary School and distributing tree saplings among students, reinforcing the government's commitment to environmental sustainability alongside social welfare programs.

Local administrative officials and leaders from the ruling BNP and its associate bodies attended the inauguration ceremony, underscoring the collaborative effort in implementing these initiatives.
