## Celebrating Nazrul Islam's Legacy

The Nazrul Year was declared by the government to commemorate the life and works of Kazi Nazrul Islam, Bangladesh's national poet. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the designated logo on July 2, 2026. The Cultural Affairs Ministry has been instrumental in promoting the use of this logo across all government offices to ensure a unified and meaningful celebration of Nazrul's contributions.

## Implementation and Significance

The cabinet division's directive has been communicated to the Prime Minister's Office, all ministries and divisions, secretaries, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, upazila nirbahi officers (UNO), and all government agencies. The emphasis on using the logo in official correspondence aims to integrate the celebration of the Nazrul Year at the national level, reinforcing the poet's influence on the nation's spirit and activities.
