The decision aligns with the 121st meeting of the National Implementation Committee for Administrative Reorganisation (NIKAR).

## Fatikchhari North Upazila in Chattogram

In Chattogram district, Fatikchhari North Upazila has been formed by separating six unions from Fatikchhari Upazila. The six unions are Bagan Bazar, Dantmara, Narayanhat, Bhujpur, Harualchhari, and Suabil. The notification also approved the office set-up for various government offices in the newly formed upazila.

## South Gafargaon Upazila in Mymensingh

In Mymensingh district, South Gafargaon Upazila has been created by carving out eight unions from Gafargaon Upazila. The unions included in the new upazila are Moshakhali, Panchbagh, Usthi, Longair, Paithal, Datter Bazar, Niguari, and Tangab. The government also approved the office establishment for different public offices in the new administrative unit.

## Bangra Upazila in Cumilla

In Cumilla district, Bangra Upazila has been formed by separating 10 unions from Muradnagar Upazila. The unions are Sreekail, Akubpur, Andikot, Purba Dhoir (East), Purba Dhoir (West), Bangra (East), Bangra (West), Chapitala, Ramchandrapur (North), and Tonki. The notification said the office set-up for various government offices in Bangra Upazila has also been approved.
