# Fire Service Conducts Safety Protocol Training for Journalists

*The Fire Service and Civil Defence organized a two-day training for Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh members to enhance their safety during emergencies.*

To bolster the safety awareness and preparedness of journalists covering emergencies, the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) conducted a two-day intensive training program on fire safety and emergency response for the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) from August 2-3 in Dhaka.

A total of 48 CRAB members attended the sessions held at the Fire Service headquarters, where they received practical training in firefighting techniques, rescue operations, first aid, earthquake preparedness, and personal safety measures for journalists during news coverage.
