Six bus drivers in Feni were fined by a mobile court for using hydraulic horns, which led to noise pollution. The operation took place on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in the Devipur area.

The fines were imposed by Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Choyon Barua and Shamima Akhtar. Present during the operation were Senior Chemist of the Department of Environment, Golam Bashir Ahmed, and Inspector Shawon Shawkat.

According to Senior Chemist Golam Bashir Ahmed, the operation was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Environment to control noise pollution, coinciding with the International Noise Awareness Day.

A total of Tk 10,500 was collected in fines from the six bus drivers. Law enforcement personnel were also present during the operation.
