In a heartfelt address during a tree plantation event in Lalmonirhat, Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu highlighted the symbiotic relationship between nurturing trees and fostering a responsible society. Dulu asserted that both require dedication and care to thrive, urging a comprehensive approach to national development. He emphasized that just as trees need regular care to grow, children need proper education and moral guidance to become responsible citizens.

Speaking at the event organized by the Lalmonirhat Zilla Parishad, Dulu pointed out that merely planting trees is not enough to maintain ecological balance. He advocated for a nationwide tree plantation campaign, emphasizing the need for continued support and care to ensure the survival of the saplings. 'Trees help preserve ecological balance and contribute to the long-term well-being of both individuals and society,' he noted.

Dulu also expressed concern over the social challenges children face, such as exposure to injustice and harmful cultural influences. He stressed that quality education and strong moral values are crucial in reducing social crime and preventing moral decline. 'The government is implementing various initiatives to engage our youth in constructive activities,' he said, calling on parents, educational institutions, and voluntary organizations to take a more proactive role.

The minister acknowledged that while law enforcement is important, it alone cannot resolve all social problems. He highlighted the significance of public awareness, family values, and personal responsibility in addressing societal issues. 'A healthy social environment is as vital as proper education and moral values in developing an ethical and capable future generation,' Dulu concluded.

The tree plantation and sapling distribution event, attended by Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Rashedul Haque Prodhan and other dignitaries, marked the formal inauguration of the campaign. Representatives of 23 voluntary organizations received 1,500 saplings to plant, underscoring the collective effort needed to achieve the goals set forth by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

Dulu's remarks reflect a broader vision for national development, one that intertwines environmental stewardship with social responsibility. By promoting tree care alongside moral education, the minister aims to cultivate a generation that values both the environment and societal well-being.
