Abdus Salam unveiled the budget at the Nagar Bhaban auditorium. The budget was approved at the 14th meeting of the DSCC Management Committee on July 26. The original budget for fiscal year 2025–26 was Taka 38.4138 billion, while the revised budget stood at Taka 31.3877 billion.
