A drawing competition was held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Dhaka to mark July Mass Uprising Day 2026, with students from various schools participating. Children aged between 5 and 12 years competed in two categories, expressing the spirit of July through their paintings. Member of Parliament Shawkat Ara Akter and Secretary of the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, Barrister Md. Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, were present at the competition.

MP Shawkat Ara Akter praised the children for beautifully portraying the memories and significance of July through their paintings. She highlighted the importance of July in representing the nation's spirit and inspiration. Secretary Bhuiyan noted that the artworks reflected the children's perception and embrace of the July spirit, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for future generations to learn about historic events.
