# DMP Files 2,719 Traffic Law Violation Cases in Recent City Drives

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Traffic Division has filed 2,719 cases against traffic law violators during enforcement drives conducted across different parts of the city. In addition to filing cases, police also dumped 587 vehicles and towed away 328 others. The highest number of cases, 456, was filed by the Motijheel Traffic Division, followed by Uttara with 449, Tejgaon with 390, Mirpur with 397, Gulshan with 347, Wari with 299, Lalbagh with 200, and Ramna with 181. The DMP has stated that these enforcement drives will continue to ensure traffic discipline in the metropolitan area.
