A narrow lane in Chittagong's Khatib Para has been transformed into 'Brazil Lane,' a vibrant homage to Brazilian football. Local residents have adorned the lane with murals of legendary players like Pelé, Romário, Ronaldinho, and Neymar, along with the Brazilian flag. The transformation was initiated by local football enthusiasts ahead of the FIFA World Cup, creating a festive atmosphere that has drawn visitors eager to capture photos and experience the celebration of football.

The half-kilometer lane is decorated with a 36-foot-long and 16-foot-wide Brazilian flag, and murals depicting various chapters of Brazilian football history. The names and jersey numbers of the current Brazilian team's 26 players are also featured. One wall showcases Pelé, Romário, Ronaldinho, and Neymar standing together, while another displays portraits of current and former stars, the word 'Seleção,' and the World Cup trophy.

The initiative was spearheaded by local resident Roni Sajjad, who has been decorating the lane since 2010. The murals were painted by Nayon Pal, a fourth-year student of Fine Arts at Chittagong University, who is an Argentina supporter but appreciates the artistic aspect of the project. Locals, including young enthusiasts like Mohammad Humayun and Rayhan Islam, express their excitement and hopes for Brazil's performance in the upcoming World Cup matches.

As Brazil prepares to face Morocco in their first match, the atmosphere in Khatib Para is electric. The lane has become a symbol of the community's passion for football, drawing visitors and creating a unique blend of local and global football culture.
