The current overpass, built 45 years ago, is in a hazardous state due to concrete erosion, rod rust, and surface cracking, posing significant safety risks, especially for heavy cargo trucks passing daily.

## Safety and Modernization Initiatives

Three strategies were proposed to address the existing overpass's issues: reinforcement and modernization. These strategies aim to increase the load capacity of the pillars by 45 percent and extend the overpass's lifespan by 30 years at a minimal cost.
