Fisheries and Livestock Deputy Minister Sultan Salauddin announced that Bhashani Hall in Tangail will be renovated to revive local cultural practices and provide a space for local artists. He emphasized the importance of the hall, which was inaugurated by President Ziaur Rahman, and criticized its neglect under previous governments.

Salauddin, also the BNP's publicity secretary, visited the dilapidated Bhashani Hall on Friday morning and assured journalists that the renovation would be completed as soon as possible. He stressed the historical significance of the hall and its role in Tangail's cultural heritage.

The Deputy Minister was accompanied by several officials, including the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department, the Additional District Administrator, and local BNP leaders. After inspecting the hall, he attended a science innovation workshop at the Tangail Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium.
