Akij Resources, a prominent industrial group, has inaugurated Akij Mediplex, its first diagnostic and consultation center, in Mirpur 10. The center was opened by Akij Resources' Chairman, Faria Hossain, marking the group's entry into the healthcare sector after construction, consumer goods, technology, and services.

The diagnostic center is equipped with AI-driven advanced machinery and offers a range of diagnostic and laboratory tests under the supervision of experienced doctors. It also provides home sample collection and automated vital checks for patient convenience.

Chairman Faria Hossain emphasized the importance of quality healthcare in relation to economic progress, stating the group's commitment to long-term investment in the healthcare sector. Akij Mediplex's Chief Business Officer, Abu Zafar Iqbal Ahmed, highlighted the center's aim to deliver a service environment combining technology, expertise, and humane care.

Akij Mediplex features specialist doctors' chambers, a state-of-the-art German-technology laboratory, digital reporting, online appointment scheduling, home sample collection services, and international-standard laboratory facilities.
