Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan today inaugurated the newly-constructed building of the Bangladesh Centre for Air and Space Power Studies (BCASPS) at BAF Base Bashar in Dhaka Cantonment. The Air Chief unveiled the commemorative plaque and planted a tree on the premises. He also joined a special prayer and munajat. Following the inauguration, the Air Chief visited various sections of the facility and reviewed its activities. BCASPS, which launched its operations and website on January 18, 2026, contributes to research and knowledge generation on air and space power, national security, the strategic environment, and defence policy.
